Overview

This course is designed to help students gain greater confidence and competence in the actual practice of those ministry skills that will be needed in the student’s anticipated ministry role. Mentoring is provided through both individual meetings with an experienced practitioner and peer ministry reflection groups.

Course Description:

The healing ministry of God in today’s world will be considered. The course will survey the biblical and theological perspectives and the history of divine healing in the Church.

Objective

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

  • understand better the biblical teachings relating to divine healing
  • analyze the popular approaches to healing both within and outside of the modern church, and to be able to compare and contrast these approaches with sound Scriptural teaching.
  • develop a practical and theological approach to the ministry of divine healing in the local church.

Assignments:

  1. Complete quizzes, and exams
  2. Write a five page report on on one of the two requied textbooks.
